Schnitzler, Georg von

Born in Cologne in 1884, studied law and received doctorate, joined Hoechst in 1912, became managing board member in 1924, in 1925 worked on merger agreements for I.G. Farben, in 1930 headed the Sales Department of the I.G., “military economy leader,” sentenced to two years in prison in 1948 in the I.G. Farben Trial at Nuremberg for “plunder and spoliation,” released in 1949, died in 1962.
